meet Janine

Janine Amato was born and raised in the UK, but currently lives in the United States.  She met her husband in 2007 while on vacation in America and they instantly fell in love.  They spent 1 1/2 years making their long distance relationship work until Janine decided to move across the pond to settle down.  Janine is now settled in PA with her husband and her two beautiful children: Mariana and Xander.

In the UK Janine worked hard to finish her degree in early childhood care and absolutely loved working with children, but always had a passion for the beauty industry.

In 2008 she moved to USA and decided to dip her toes in the beauty industry, well... actually she jumped into it when she and her husband purchased a salon in a very busy Mall. After 4 years of hard work, a crazy monthly overhead, unreliable employees, and no time for her young children and husband, she decided to sell Her salon and search for something better.

Motives Cosmetics was that something better! In 2012 she started her business with Motives, building locally and globally. Janine now loves what she she does and has a passion to help women feel beautiful and empowered.  She even has the ability to create unique custom blended formulas from foundations to lipsticks and more.  She's also been able to build a successful freelance career.  She currently works with photographers on shoots and loves working with bridal parties, prom and sitting down one to one with clients to help them find the perfect products as well as share her application knowledge.

She has been very successful with her business and loves to share her success in the hopes to inspire and motivate women like herself who juggle work hours, and family life.

While building with Motives, Janine has won awards such as:

• TNT Challenge winner
• TNT Beauty Advisor of the Year
• 2x Motives Corporate Challenge Winner
• 2nd and 3rd place in the I AM MOTIVES contest
• Janine was asked to become a National Trainer in 2017 and is very excited to share her knowledge and experience with the field, helping motivate women to create their future.
